Cookies Policy

Last updated: January 2026

In compliance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy Directive), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the guidelines of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) on the use of cookies, we inform you about the use of cookies on our website.

Party responsible for the use of cookies

The party responsible for the use of cookies on this website is CANARY ISLANDS CONSULTING, S.L.P.U. (trade name: JAIZME), with tax ID (CIF) B56161045 and registered office at Calle Castillo 15, 1st Floor, 38002 Santa Cruz de Tenerife. You can contact us at info@jaizme.com.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet or mobile) when you visit a website. These technologies allow the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time.

Cookies may be:

  • Session cookies: Deleted when you close the browser.
  • Persistent cookies: Remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them manually.
  • First-party cookies: Set by the website you are visiting.
  • Third-party cookies: Set by domains other than the website you are visiting.

This policy also covers technologies similar to cookies (such as the browser's localStorage and sessionStorage) where they are used, in accordance with Article 22.2 LSSI-CE.

2. Consent

In accordance with current regulations, cookies that are not strictly necessary for the operation of the website require your prior, informed consent before being installed on your device. When you access our website for the first time, an informational banner will be displayed requesting your consent for the installation of non-essential cookies.

You can accept, reject or configure cookies at any time. The legal basis for the processing of data via cookies is:

  • Necessary cookies: Legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
  • Preference, analytics and marketing cookies: Consent of the data subject (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).

3. Types of cookies we use

2.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These are essential for the operation of the website and cannot be disabled in our systems. They are generally set only in response to actions taken by you that amount to a request for services.

Cookie Provider Purpose Duration
jaizme_cookie_consent JAIZME Stores your cookie consent preferences 1 year

2.2 Functional local storage (not cookies)

For some features the website uses the browser's local storage (localStorage / sessionStorage) instead of cookies. These are technologies similar to cookies under Article 22.2 LSSI-CE, but they are strictly necessary to provide a feature you request (accessibility preferences or the voice assistant) and are therefore exempt from consent. They stay on your device, are not sent to any third party and do not identify you. You can clear them from your browser settings at any time.

Key Storage Purpose Duration
a11y-font-size, a11y-high-contrast localStorage Stores accessibility preferences (font size, high contrast) Persistent
naira_guest_id, naira_experimental_ack localStorage Identifies your session in the Naira voice assistant (only if you open it) and remembers you saw its notice Persistent
jz_s sessionStorage Temporary, anonymous session id for first-party audience measurement (see 3.4); deleted when you close the tab Session

2.3 Analytics cookies

These allow us to count visits and traffic sources to measure and improve the performance of our site. They help us know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site.

Cookie Provider Purpose Duration
_ga Google Analytics 4 Distinguishes unique users by assigning a random number 2 years
_ga_* Google Analytics 4 Maintains session state and counts page views 2 years

2.4 Marketing cookies

These may be set through our site by our advertising partners. They may be used by these companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant ads on other sites.

Cookie Provider Purpose Duration
_gcl_au Google Ads Conversion linker: measures ad conversions on the thank-you page (/gracias/) 90 days
_gcl_aw, _gac_* Google Ads Store the ad click (gclid) for conversion attribution 90 days

Note: These cookies are only set if you give your express consent and only on the thank-you page (/gracias/). The third-party tools (Google Analytics and Google Ads) are not loaded and send no data to Google until you accept. We do not use Meta (Facebook) or LinkedIn tracking pixels.

Enhanced Conversions: if you submit the contact form and have accepted «Marketing», your email and phone are hashed (SHA-256) in your own browser before being sent to Google Ads to better attribute the conversion. Google never receives this data in clear text.

3.4 First-party audience measurement (cookieless)

In addition to the cookies above, we use a first-party (self-hosted) audience measurement system that does not install cookies on your device and does not identify you personally. It collects only aggregate data (page views, approximate country, device type and traffic source) for statistical purposes for the controller only, without reusing it for other purposes or sharing it with third parties. In line with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) cookie guidelines, this measurement is exempt from consent as strictly proportionate first-party audience analytics; we inform you of it for transparency.
